Postcards

For our first assignment, we created a postcard. Immediately, I knew I wanted to keep my postcard clean and graphic, but still very much me. So I gathered plants and flowers, with uncertainty as to what I was going to do with them. But I liked the end result and see it's potential.

My concept was to capture still moments in time, like experiencing a moment on the beach, writing a postcard in this technological era, or just gazing at a piece of jewelry. I did not quite grasp the assignment, as we were assigned to pick one specific object. So I've chosen maps, literal or conceptual, it holds the essence of my vision.
